Soundhole Rosette Options.

The soundhole on both steel-string and classical guitars are traditionally adorned with a decorative rosette. Steel-string rosettes are generally composed of a series of rings, often with shell material such as abalone and mother-of-pearl. Classical rosettes are typically constructed as one large wide ring made up of a mosaic of tiny wooden squares, often with very ornate and colorful patterns. The mosaic pattern is cut from a "log" comprised of a bundle of long sticks with a square cross sections.

My standard steel-string rosettes include three rings with a Paua Abalone middle ring. For classical guitars, my standard rosette includes several striking examples of the traditional mosaic rosettes. As with all aspects of my guitars, custom options are available as well.
